- Answer any one question from Section-A of 15 marks each.
- Answer any three questions from Section-B of 20 marks each.

1. Define Management. Explain management functions and their contribution to major management process. [15]
प्रबन्धन को परिभाषित कीजिए। प्रबन्धन कार्यों और प्रमुख प्रबन्धन प्रक्रिया में उनके योगदान की व्याख्या कीजिए।
2. What is meant by Management by Objective (M.B.O.)? Discuss the process of M.B.O. and also describe its merits and difficulties. [15]
उद्देश्य द्वारा प्रबन्धन (एम.बी.ओ.) से क्या आशय है? एम.बी.ओ. की प्रक्रिया बताइए एवं इसके लाभों एवं कठिनाइयों की व्याख्या कीजिए।

3. What do you mean by Planning? State the importance of planning in modern business. Also explain the steps involved in planning process. [20]
नियोजन से आपका क्या तात्पर्य है? आधुनिक व्यवसाय में नियोजन का महत्त्व बताइए। नियोजन प्रक्रिया में शामिल चरणों को भी समझाइए।
4. What is Forecasting? Explain the different forms of forecasting. State the factors that affect choice of forecasting methods. [20]
पूर्वानुमान क्या है? पूर्वानुमान के विभिन्न रूपों की व्याख्या कीजिए। उन कारकों का उल्लेख कीजिए जो पूर्वानुमान विधियों के चुनाव को प्रभावित करते हैं।
5. Define Decentralization of Authority. What are the advantages and limitations of decentralization? [20]
सत्ता के विकेन्द्रीकरण को परिभाषित कीजिए। विकेन्द्रीकरण के लाभ और सीमाएँ क्या हैं?
6. What is Motivation? Describe the models of motivation given by Maslow and Herzberg. [20]
अभिप्रेरणा क्या है? अभिप्रेरणा के मैस्लो एवं हर्जबर्ग के मॉडल्स की व्याख्या कीजिए।
7. Why staffing function is important in an organisation? Discuss in detail the process of selection. [20]
किसी संगठन में स्टाफिंग कार्य क्यों महत्वपूर्ण है? चयन प्रक्रिया की विस्तृत व्याख्या कीजिए।
8. What are the elements of control? Explain the various traditional and modern techniques of control. [20]
नियन्त्रण के तत्त्व क्या हैं? नियंत्रण की विभिन्न पारंपरिक और आधुनिक तकनीकों की व्याख्या कीजिए।
9. What do you mean by Departmentation? Discuss various methods of departmentation. [20]
विभागीकरण से आपका क्या तात्पर्य है? विभागीकरण की विभिन्न विधियों की व्याख्या कीजिए।
10. Describe the Communication Process. Explain the different types of communication. [20]
